WHAT: Learn about the impact of a major earthquake will have on your neighborhood.
The exercise is a “tabletop” format, which means neighborhood teams will gather around a kitchen table simulating the discovery of damage and injuries. Participants will learn about damage assessment, how to prioritize various situations and take immediate action. The exercise will also include communication your neighborhood’s situation to the various agencies involved, including the Towns of Woodside and Portola Valley, San Mateo County Office of Emergency Services, and the Woodside Fire Protection District.
